Counselling Services & Individual Suppport
What to Expect from Counselling at Seabird College
Counselling at Seabird College offers a safe, supportive, respectful, and non-judgemental space where students can release the things weighing them down. Our counsellors provide individualized treatment plans based on each student’s unique needs, helping them learn and practice new skills to increase life satisfaction.
Counselling Services
The counselling process begins with an initial 50-minute session, during which we will establish a safe, supportive, respectful, and non-judgemental environment for you to explore the issues weighing you down. Together, we will collaborate to develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and goals. This plan will outline the strategies and techniques we will employ to help you learn and practice new skills aimed at enhancing your overall life satisfaction.
Throughout our sessions, you will have the opportunity to openly discuss your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgement. While it is natural to feel uncomfortable or vulnerable when delving into hurtful or stressful experiences, you are always in control of what is discussed during our time together. We provide a safe space for you to share at your own pace and comfort level.
The counselling process is private and confidential, allowing you to freely explore your concerns without the fear of disclosure. Each session will be dedicated to your unique journey, focusing on the specific challenges you are facing and the skills you need to overcome them.
Counselling can assist with a wide range of issues, including:
